Cancer Focus NI

15th Sep 2017

We had a very entertaining and informative lesson from a member of Cancer Focus, on the subject of being food detectives. We learned how all foods need to have a label to let people know what ingredients they contain.  We also found out about the "traffic lights" system of labelling, so that we can decide which foods are better for us.  The difference between fresh and processed food was explained, and the children found out how added fat, sugar and salt can be harmful to our bodies.
