This morning we welcomed Denise Blake for our second Poetry in Motion workshop. This week, the theme was colours. We wrote a shared poem, and then moved on to find out about the different shades of colours, before writing two new poems each. Some of the work was so imaginative, and everyone took part enthusiastically. The children have especially enjoyed reading out their own poems to the class. Mrs Quigley, our Literacy Co-ordinator, popped in to see how we were getting on, and she was very impressed by the quality of the work.
